멀티미디어 데이터를 이용하시고자 하는 경우에는 아래의 두 가지 경우 중에서 해당하는 내용을 이용하시면 될 것입니다.

1. 웹상의 스트리밍 데이터
Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player

2. 영화 파일과 같은 동영상 데이터
MPlayer, VLC 등

그리고 싸이월드의 경우에는 Safari로도 접속이 가능하나 일부 기능을 지원하지 않는 경우가 있으니, 이러한 경우에는 Fire Fox 등과 같은 다른 웹브라우져를 사용하시는 방법이 있을 것입니다.
매킨토시에서 당나귀 서버를 이용하는 방법은 맥용 당나귀 클라이언트 프로그램을 사용하시면 될 것이고, 한글을 지원하는 당나귀 클라이언트 프로그램으로는 Nagui라는 프로그램이 있었는데 지금도 제대로 지원이 되는지는 확인을 해보지 못했습니다.

매킨토시에서는 PC용 프로그램을 설치하여 사용을 하실 수가 없으니 매킨토시용 프로그램을 사용하셔야 할 것입니다.
윈앰프 프로그램은 아주 오래 전에 맥앰프라는 프로그램이 있기는 하였으나 OS X에서는 지원을 하지 않는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
이런 경우에는 iTunes를 이용하시면 되지 않을까 하는 생각을 해봅니다.
Windows Media Player의 설치시에 해당 프로그램을 찾지 못하는 경우는 아마도 PC용 프로그램을 설치하시려 해서 나타난 메시지가 아닐까 합니다.
